Do you think that casinos closely monitoring the gambling activities can prevent problematic gambling behaviour?

WTF is wrong with me...

So... I'm writing this to blow off a little steam... I received my monthly salary on Tuesday morning, paid off some debts and friends I owed. Feeling good, finally have money again so I can eat good food again, treat my gf etc... and no temptation to gamble yet (the month before I blew my whole paycheck of 1790 euros on payday). If you're anything like me you'll relate to this, that feeling when you finally have money again after your stomachs been rumbling all month from a stupid gambling loss, it feels like redemption at last! Back in the game baby, I'm human once more! Gonna do all those things I couldn't last month and live a normal life!
So anyway, having a pretty normal day. Work is going good, me and my girlfriend are in a great mood because we got paid etc... At about 6pm, as I'm still working, the itch comes along. Guilt hits me instantly, the itch comes along less than 8 hours after getting my salary!!? WTF!?? Why am I this person...? In my head I'm saying 'f*** man don't do it, you've been broke for a month do you really want to go back, seriously don't f****** do it, don't you dare'... About 30 more minutes go by and my girlfriend goes to another room. 10 minutes later I've signed up and deposited to a new online casino (banned myself from about 10 in my country). I don't know how this happens, I know how wrong it is when I'm doing it and I'm screaming in my head to stop but I can't stop my fingers from signing me up to these god damn sites... It was the same with live casinos, Every bone in my body was yelling at me to stop walking towards the casino yet my body would get pulled towards it like I was in a trance... So back to the present, my thinking now is okay 20 euros isn't going to hurt anybody. I'll try hit a bonus on a slot and if that doesn't work then I will back out and be done with it. (Yeah slots... I know, trust me I know...)
Also, keep in mind I have never in my entire life just deposited one time, or bought in one time at a live casino so why the f*** am I able to trick myself into this insane fallacy time and time again I will never know...
So anyway, here I am buying in 'once', I hit a bonus and I'm thinking heyyy nice I'll win some of last months pay check back, I forgot about all this easy money! Sitting at about 86 euros at this point. 5 minutes later it's all gone. Ah wtf that's my 20 euros, screw this casino I'm not starting the month off losing 20 euros. I'll deposit one more time to get that back... 1 and a half hours later I've blown about 200 euros and now I'm reeeeeally mad, that was my money! I work hard all month for this s*** and this casino is just going to laugh in my face like this... GTFO... 100 euros deposit POOF gone. Another 100 euros BYE BYE, 150 euros SEE YA!, another 200 euros F&!@#$^!!! ... You can see where this is going. 950 euros I lost... 950 hard earned euros after a month long grind. That's how incredibly dumb and hooked I am, 950 euros chasing a god damn 20 euro note on the day I get paid after 30 days of vowing to never do this shit ever again... I mean to think about it is insane. So there I am feeling like I want to kill myself and my GF is lying next to me fast asleep with no idea what a loser she's dating. (She caught me doing this same s*** last month and I promised never again so actually she does know I'm a loser I guess).
So now I'm sitting with 170 euros in my account plus my rent. I never touch my rent money, that's the only thing I can say I'm 'proud' of in this whole mess that has become my life. I have terrible credit so that 170 euros has to last me for food for the entire month, no access to an overdraft or anything (thank god)... I wake up the next day and it hits me like a ton of bricks but I've had this feeling so many times in my life that I'm pretty good at dealing with it. F*** it make coffee, move on, cut my losses, try not to look my gf in the eye etc... Turn on my laptop and get to work. 4 hours into the day a thought creeps into my head... how on earth am I going to live on 170 euros for a month. F**** that! Let me see if I left anything in the casino, okay 6 euros great... Open up a slot... You won't believe it, the devil himself appears and gives me another bonus hit with that 6 euros and now suddenly I have 200 euros in the casino plus 170 in my account so I'm sitting pretty on 370. Not the 1100 I had yesterday but still not bad for a man who woke up with 170 and an empty void in his chest... Withdraw?? Haha sure.... I'm still down about 700 euros you think I'm gonna withdraw? Good joke... So the inevitable happens and I lose the 200 in about 30 mins and deposit the remaining 170 in about 13 deposits of 10 and 20 euros....... You can tell how sick and desperate I was getting because I kept saying okay 20 more, okay 10 more.... ugh f*** another 10... At one point I almost cried, seriously... and next thing you know...
...BROKE!!!
Again...! 0, nada, not a penny to my name. 1900 euros entered my account Tuesday, 0 euros plus my rent remains in my account Wednesday. What kind of a joke is this? Why do I do this to myself? How stupid can a person get, honestly it is baffling... I want to cry but I can't because my girlfriend is sitting just opposite from me and I have to have a Zoom work meeting... FML.
The worst part is I've lost count of how many times this same story (or worse, some are way worse) has happened to me... This is just the new normal for a sicko like me. I know for some people it's not a lot of money but broke is broke and this is just ruining my life. I hate it so much.
So here I am, I've borrowed money from a couple of friends (again...), I've done it so much they know they'll get paid back and on time but it's still so embarrassing to have to ask on payday week... At the end of the month I'll be handing over half my salary to other people... Woohoo! I feel so guilty too, especially with all this coronavirus stuff going on and all the people who have lost their jobs and can't afford to eat. I have a decent job that is basically 'coronaproof' yet still I throw all my money away like it's some sort of joke. I wish I could sue the casinos or get them banned, they are sick and they know people like me have an illness. I don't know if this will ever end to be honest. I am not hopeful. All I can do now is hope the little money I've borrowed lasts and my gf doesn't find out what I've done. If you're like me and have a gambling addiction then get help, this is no way to live. :(

Idea: New crimes.

Edit: The bottom aren’t crimes they just are my idea overflows. If only there was a way to edit Reddit thread titles lol.
Attend a street racing event. There’s a 60% caught rate. As you can either choose to run away or surrender to the police likewise and like so.
Shoplift. There will be a 50% caught rate. You can sell certain things like a flatscreen TV or something like that for money for example but the more valuable the item is the more money you’ll get if you sell it in the black market.
Go naked. With a 80% caught rate with either you will get a ticket to actually being caught and sent to jail for about a month and you won’t need to age for this it will just be considered a life event but you will still get a criminal record anyway for it if you do this.
Disturb The Peace. You can start yelling in a grocery store. Yell at a church. Yell in public. Or start running through the store or playing the floor is lava in the library for example. You’ll get 3 months in jail due to disturbing the peace and there will be a 80% caught rate.
Copyright Infringement: You will just be sued for this. No criminal charges. It’s if you sample something in a song you made if you’re a musician without permission, if you use someone else’s image and make it your logo, you can be sued for less than if you used a sample without their permission.
Street race. There will be a 70% caught rate. You can do wager races, pink slip races, and even police chases in the mini game where you can smash cop cars (if you get caught it will be attempted murder if you do this), there will be a little mini game too so that it will be more interactive. You can start doing it at 16 when you can have a license.
Rob a bank. There will be a 50% caught rate but there will be a little mini game where you have to hack through the bank. You can also hire people to aid in your robbing as well using the dark web.
Wire Fraud. There will be a 40% caught rate. There will be a little mini game where you have to hack through the bank.
Hack. It will have a 50% caught rate.
Have Sex Underage. With a 60% caught you which will be sent to Juvie for 3 years for underage sex and become a sex offender. You and your partner will face the same level of crimes. Only your partner can decide on wether not you’ll have sex but you can ask them if they want to in which they’ll have the final decision. Either your parents will find you and beat you up, ground you, or call the police. This will increase your happiness but it’s extremely risky like other crimes. It will even warm you before doing this that you are about to do an extremely risky thing.
Gamble More Than $10,000. With a 40% caught rate at first and the more you do it will become 70% as the bank you put your money in will smell at rat and one and you’ll be investigated and potentially arrested for doing this for 5 years for illegal gambling.
Open an Illegal Casino. With a 60% caught rate. You may or may not get caught but you will make a lot of money and you will have to buy a couple things like a radar distributor and a police scanner and an instant hider as well as a map wiper.
Deal drugs you can choose what drugs to sell and it will have the same caught rate as stealing a car. You can choose what drugs you wanna deal.
Join a Gang: If you join a gang, you’ll be at a huge risk of being hurt or dying form your wounds cause you’ll be held at gunpoint a lot and if you attack other gang members you’ll be killed. So it’s a high risk.
Ignore Traffic Laws. You will have a 50% caught rate. If you get caught you will be ticketed. Although if you continue to get caught over 3 times you’ll lose your license for a year. And if you continue to do this after that it will be revoked and you’ll have to hire a personal driver for $50 per hour or drive without a license. You can decrease your chances of getting caught the faster your car is and the more lights and license plate covers you put on your car.
Drive Without a License. If you loose your license for reckless driving you won’t have a license and if you wanna drive without a license there will be a 40% caught rate. In which you’ll got to jail for 1 year. And the more you continue to do it, the more your future jail sentences will be every time you get caught.
Get a Fake ID. You can buy on with bitcoin online and once you have it you can get into clubs but if you get into fights you’ll be arrested since the cops will eventually find out you’ve used a fake ID to get into the club. And you can attend events with your parents and older friends.
Drink Underage. You can also have a drink with stuff you bought at the liquor store with your Fake ID or just your parents’ Alchool. You can also ask your parents to buy you Alchool for you as well so you can have more drinks. You can also be caught for it if you do it at a party and the cops bust the party for noise complaints.
Do Drugs. Be careful as you’ll become addicted if you do it too much and your parents might find out potentially. If you do it at a party or a club you’ll have a 60% caught rate.
Fraud. There will be a 60% caught rate if you pretend to sell something online.
Click Fraud. If you install a bot on your YouTube channel you’ll be sued by google for click fraud and not only will you loose your channel and have to make another one and start your whole career all over again, you’ll also have will have to pay a humongous fine as well. There is a 80% caught rate.
Other Stuff:
The ability to take the license plate off the car. To decrease your chances of being caught for it. You’ll need to do this if you are becoming a street racer so the police don’t arrest you and so you don’t become wanted.
The ability to tint your windows or buy shades or disguises so you can get away form the police if you are street racing. You can also make a fake name as well so you’ll be known as that so you won’t have to reveal your identity to any of by our street racer friends but your chances of being caught are higher the more famous you are at like 40% percent the more famous you get the more likely you are to eventually get caught someday doing it.
Put a fake dealership on the car. Which will even further decrease your chances of getting caught.
Put a fake label on the car and pretend it’s another brand. Which would potentially get you sued for copyright infringement if you sell it.
The ability to buy non-street legal parts like spoilers and bodykits that aren’t street legal. Which would get your car impounded potentially the more upgrades you put on it. But if you attend and participate in street racing events you’ll get more reputation and if your car is faster you’ll win the races and get paid a lot of money. You can do this at 16 but your parents will become suspicious.
The ability to move to Mexico, and then another country after that to get away from the police and it will be another option to get away from being arrested.
Once you become a frequent street racer you’ll have a rep section on your “Street Rep” section int the, “Commit a Crime” section. You can check to see how much money you’ve made and how much you’re known in the street racing community. Then you can also be promoted or even kicked out for neglecting them if you cease doing it for a while.
If you sell a stolen car, and the person you sell it to gets caught after you sell it to them with it, your, “Guilt” level will rise which will compromise your happiness as you will have the feeling Iike you just, “Killed a Man” kind of thing.
Import a Car. It will cost a lot over $1,000,000 to do this. You can also illegally import it which will have a 80% caught rate and you will be put in prison for 3 years for smuggling and you obviously will lose the car and it will be crushed.
Non-criminal stuff: (NOT related to this topic and just my idea overflow so I don’t end up looking like I’m spamming the sub which I don’t mean to, just very excited about my ideas that’s all haha lol.)
The ability to admit your fetishes to people which may comprise your reputation and cause your parents or your friends to judge you. (With the ability of doing nothing about it or insulting or arguing with them back.)
The ability to do kinks with your partner. Whatever your fetish is. .........you get the point. But be careful cause If you do BDSM, you will get a lot of injuries and your health might potentially go down, and if you do it to your partner they could have the right to sue you for assault by 30%. Not a whole lot of a risk, but it can potentially be based on the person that you are with.
The ability to give your partner a lap dance. This is a way of getting your partner to like you by 10%.
Get naked in front of your partner. This will make your partner like you by 20%.
Tell you partner what they like. This will increase your partners’ appreciation for you by 15%.

The Game Designer is Dead. Long Live the Game Designer.

I've tried to make this argument multiple times when I was a struggling Game Designer, but it was always too emotional. Now that I've made the smart move and switched to becoming a Developer, and now that I can clearly and concretely see how fucked the game industry is, I'm going to give this one more crack. And I'm going to summarize my argument right off the bat.
TL;DR: If you want to design games, design board games, because the modern video game industry has little to almost no need for game designers.
These days, game studios do not invest in training or hiring good game designers, or even if they did they won't be able to find any, because:
  1. The video game industry has become incredibly capital intensive and therefore taking creative risks is no longer worth it. Aesthetics based monetization and the paradigm of Sofware-as-a-Service means that once you get ONE game, ANY game, to work, you only need to stick with it to print money forever, and you can usually just ripoff someone else's game design at that.
  2. The smartphone/indie game boom and bust came and went, indie designers continue to struggle to survive, while "get rich quick" cash in mobile game companies are increasingly falling back on tried-and-true design patterns, while at the same time getting swallowed by, well, Tencent.
  3. Our hypercapitalistic culture is pushing people away from celebrating artistic mediums, or the study of them as rigorous disciplines. These days, leading a triple-A game production is more akin to being a businessman than a creative.
  4. Crowdfunding disasters, like Star Citizen, has seriously put the whole damn industry in doubt. It's now possible to run a game like a ponzi scheme. Think about that for a second. That's not even mentioning the glut of subpar competition created by app platforms like App Store, Steam Greenlight, and Google Play, which makes exceptional games almost impossible to stand out.
Let me elaborate on these points, but rest assured, you don't have to read these bits if you don't want to, just reread the TL;DR, that's all I'm really trying to say.
Point the first:
Team Fortress, Counterstrike, PUBG, Fortnite, League of Legends, DOTA. All of these games were initially inspired by free to play mods. But now they're non-stop money printing machines, and there seems to be no end in sight.
There is a reason why Steam Corporation is never going to make Half-Life 3. Why should they? They have an effective monopoly over all computer game digital sales. Why take a risk on any video game, that might bomb, as the costs just keep going up? Even a bet as safe as HALF LIFE FUCKING THREE.
As the years march on, video games are becoming more and more capital intensive. Not only are the increased expectations of tech constantly pushing the costs to the limit, thereby making investors risk-averse, but the fact that the safest bets ended up succeeding the most: take an established, already popular mod (DayZ King of the Kill), freshen it up so that the mechanics are just a little tighter (-> Playerunknown's Battlegrounds), then just tweak it even more so that the production values shine and the aesthetic appeals to as much of a mass market as possible (-> Fortnite).
As case in point, take Star Wars 1313. Headed by Amy Hennig, of Uncharted fame. You've got one of the world's biggest IP (Star Wars), backed by the world's most powerful entertainment corporation bar none (Disney), a projected headed by a leader who has proven herself with multiple franchises (Uncharted, Legacy of Kain) by any metric of game production in the last few decades, this is a surefire win, right? Well, not in 2018, because as we all know, DAT SHIT DED: https://www.svg.com/117164/disney-wont-release-star-wars-1313/
Innovation is arguably BAD for this business model. Look at Fortnite. They tried to blaze a trail by combining minecraft style building mechanics with shooter mechanics. No one cared. For the longest time, Fortnite: Save the World looked like it was going to be an abject failure. It wasn't until they ripped off the all too popular Battle Royale format that they started seeing success. People only cared about Fortnite's gameplay innovations after they wholesale ripped off PUBG's successful foundation, to the point where PUBG tried to sue them.
As a further point, just look at Riot Games' approach to League of Legends. In a bid to keep the game "fresh", they tried hiring all these hotshot designers, tried reworking all the systems, essentially made it an entirely different game every year. Unfortunately, it seems that it didn't work: League is hemorrhaging players who can't keep up with all the gameplay changes, and the next generation of gamers aren't drawn to MOBAs, which was so early 2000s, but rather... Battle Royale games. Riot is more than likely working on a secret project now, even though in the last few years the purported goal was to make League of Legends a "multi-generational game", because for sure ALL MOBA games are bleeding players now... except maybe Dota 2, because it's changed the least so that the players who stuck with it don't feel like they have to start over. You get rewarded more for doing less work!!
And just think. Does the BR genre feel "fresh"? Does it feel like there's innovation happening in it? Even a simple change, like when Fortnite removed the ability to reactivate your glider, was met with so much backlash (even though objectively leaving it in makes a lot of the game's early positioning tactics kind of meaningless) that they had to reintroduce it as "Soaring 50's vs. 50's".
Let's just look at the AAA games of this generation that we all love. Witcher 3, Bloodborne, God of War. All games that built heavily on the tried-and-true (*cough* Dark Souls *cough*) and even the current darling, Spiderman, we can all say is just an HD-remaster-on-steroids of the original Spider-man 2 for PS 2 (fitting that the best movie of the Raimi trilogy would coincide with the best iteration of the game), and even the combat is inspired from Arkham Asylum.
As Uncle Ben would say... "With Great Production Values, comes Great Risk Aversion."
Point the second:
Indie mobile designers usually thrive these days by going for extremely niche minimalist "microgames" (like 2047, Flappy Bird, Temple Run, etc.) which almost always get hit with tons of copycats (due to the insanely low barrier of entry), while Indie PC designers are forced to scrape by with microcommunities.
There were a few successes initially, when it seemed like it was going to be an indie videogame renaissance. But we now know that isn't true. The market consolidated a few winners (Supercell's Clash of Clans and Clash Royale, GungHo online's Puzzles and Dragons, Niantic's Pokemon: Go, that last one can hardly even be considered a winner anymore) while almost everything else falls by the wayside, buried in the deluge of productivity apps, photo filter apps and geolocation tracker running apps.
And even worse, the winners have seen even further consolidation. Tencent now completely owns Riot Games and Supercell, and has majority stakes in Epic Games and Bluehole Games (South Korean creator of PUBG). Just take a second and think about that. League of Legends, Fortnite, PUBG, Clash Royale and Clash of Clans... probably five of the most overwhelmingly popular games in the world. Wanna know what happened after Tencent acquired all these hot properties? They post their first losses ever because China won't let them sell PUBG in China: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-08-15/tencent-posts-a-surprise-profit-drop-as-regulators-hobble-games
Point the Third:
While Indie PC games like NEO Scavenger, Undertale, Darkest Dungeon and Underrail are fantastic games with an immense amount of depth, the sales can barely keep one or two people employed considering that even lo-fi indie games takes YEARS to make, often one dude slaving away for 10+ hour days on end. The initial surge of Indie success has come and gone: just watch the doc "Indie Game: The Movie". Perhaps the biggest winner in this entire sector was Stardew Valley by Eric Barone... that's ONE GUY, making ONE GAME, entirely on his own, and guess what? It might as well have been a Harvest Moon port.
To be a "game designer" with any sense of creative control over your product (instead of the corporate style "design by committee" formula) you must also: run your own business, be your own PR manager, be your own marketing expert, be your own artist, be your own coder (Dan Fedor was a technical artist and made lots of the pixel art and coded almost all of the game by himself, Dejan Radisic practically built the entire Underrail alpha with his own two hands, Eric Barone made all the art and did all the code for Stardew Valley). Game Designer is now a secondary title, either everyone on the team has some semblance of Game Design understanding, or no one does (replaced by UX designers, monetisation experts, project managers), because any self-styled "game designer" will have to build the game he designs by himself, ain't no company giving you a job just to crank out a GDD (game design document) if you can't contribute to the project in some other way as well. It is no longer considered a serious job title. You are DevelopeGame Designer, or Artist/Game Designer, or Project ManageGame Designer. There is no "Game Designer". Most of the time, you might as well just leave out the "/Game Designer" bit. I suppose exceptions to the rule exist, but they are more than likely older designers, brought up in the much more creatively inspired industry of the 90s, and maybe had to work brutal hours under a AAA studio as a QA for a decade before they were properly brought up into the "design team".
Not only is corporate culture loathe to celebrate the auteur (which is logical since out sized individual influence for any employee other than the CEO, who is beholden to a faceless group of shareholders anyway, is the antithesis of how corporations work) but even successful game designers are expected to take on roles than have nothing to do with game design: project manager, team leader, public relations expert, tech evangelist.
Concrete examples: Hideo Kojima's treatment by Konami, or say, Cliff Blezinski's career trajectory, which has clearly gone from "rockstar game designer" to "elite businessman who sells Unreal Engine".
These days, people want to be Elon Musk instead of Steven Spielberg. And at least, with film, you're talking about a much more easily made product with a LOT of rigorous academic discipline behind it. Who gets more respect... Steven Spielberg, or Sid Meier? Is Sid Meier even a game designer anymore, or just a brand name and a businessman who owns Firaxis Games?
One good metaphor, I think, is that of the rap mogul. Are Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, and 50 Cent known more for their music these days? ...or their businesses? (Tidal, Beats, Vitamin Water) These are the three biggest fortunes in the rap game, and all three of them stem from business decisions. Just like how it is in the rap game, business acumen has become more critical to making video games than creativity, at this point.
Point the fourth:
...even unscrupulous "business" acumen, and nowhere can this be seen more clearly that Scam... I mean Star Citizen.
I'm not even going to get into Star Citizen, because the facts speak for themselves. Any project that is going well shouldn't need to ask its massive crowdfunding (not even customer, because the product hasn't even been fucking finished!) community to shell out $27,000 (only after you've shelled out the roughly $1,000 to even get access to this "deal" in the first place) for "every ship in the game", most of which exist only in the minds of artists and designers.
Right along with the "Indie game boom" was the "Crowdfunding boom". You look at, say, Double Fine Entertainment, and it becomes clear that my last point, that you need business acumen more than you need creativity these days when making games, is best exemplified by Tim Schafer. Taking an underdog studio that made critically acclaimed but underperforming hits into the darling of the Indie/Crowdfunding nexus... and then using that same blessing to bring his company back into the graces of the publishers... is probably the most brilliant yet circumlocutory path to video game studio success ever seen. Not only were some of the crowdfunded games panned (like the long awaited "Broken Age") but many of the games that Double Fine went ahead and made with their newfound capital were small, experimental games that essentially helped the company paddle leisurely along, making games that were fun for them to make, as their fans continued to give them money before an actual product, until they scored a publishing deal for Psychonauts 2, which, let's be real, was what we all wanted all along. And how innovative do we expect Psychonauts to be, really? Do we really expect weird ass mechanics like in Stacking? ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stacking_(video_game)) ) Of course not, because that would be sacrilege.
So let me ask you. If you really think you do care about innovation in videogames. Did you give a shit about Stacking? Did you play it? Or did it feel like a gimmick?
Do we really want innovation in our video games, or are we just looking for the Man to make a better Skinner Box?
Because if we just keep playing Battle Royale games so we can accrue enough soft currency to buy that next sweet hat instead of diversifying our video game tastes (and thereby putting money in the hands of creative innovators) it really seems like the latter option - the Skinner Box - is what we really want.
These days, if you want a specific type of game that isn't popular, it's going to have to be crowdfunded. I'll take one example that's near and dear to me: Pillars of Eternity. I loved tactical isometric RPGs. When I heard PoE was going to be crowdfunded, I was so excited. But, when the product finally came out, it sucked. Why?
Returning to point the first: games are just becoming so capital intensive that crowdfunding isn't a guarantor of quality. Moreover, crowdfunding leaves the producer beholden to the fans, leading to shit decisions, like all the lame Mary-Sues, oh I'm sorry "backer characters", strewn about in PoE, with a litany of Fifty Shades of Grey cringe-level fanfiction writing to show you should you be stupid enough to try a talk interaction with them. More often than not, crowdfunding has absurd stretch goals that perpetually leave the team spread out to thin, no matter how much money is raised, even for features that do not serve the game at all as a whole but just sound cool on their own, like the stupid, stupid, stupid fucking levels of Od Nua. And even worse, crowdfunding fundamentally sustains itself on hype. When the hype dies down, what happens?
Guess what? Banner Saga 2 bombed hard af. No one bought it. Guess what? Pillars of Eternity: The White March DLCs, although it is commonly agreed by the PoE community to be the expansion that "fixed" the game's combat (after years, with the 3.0 revamp)... did not even break even on sales. Obsidian Entertainment lost money on The White March. Guess what? X-Com 2 underperformed just as badly as these two, and Firaxis barely recovered by releasing the expansion, which made it a very, very different game. There are probably a lot more examples, but I don't want to hunt them down because... that's depressing. Because we all know what happened. The first crowdfunding surge probably brought in a lot of people who were into it because of nostalgia, only for the limitations of crowdfunding to reveal itself, leaving everyone disinterested... and before you know it, everyone has moved on to a Battle Royale game of choice.
Conclusion:
The truth is, game design is just about hijacking human consciousness. It's about getting people to be addicted to the a behavioral loop. There's nothing glorious, or creative, about it when you scale that up to the corporate level, because all you really need to design is that one lever, that core game loop, that you can pull again, and again, and again, and oftentimes it's just way easier to lift that design from someone else than build it yourself from scratch.
Ten thousand games of Fortnite would never have the meaning that a single viewing of The Godfather part II could hold. Fifty million games of Fortnite could not compare to Moby Dick. And even the most emotionally devastating and meaningfully masterful games of the 21st century, like The Last of Us, owes more to narrative design, storytelling, film design, character design than it does to game design. Viewed from the lens of pure game design: Last of Us is just another survival/stealth action shooter, except with an escort objective that cannot actually be killed.
If you want truly mindbending, creative, and innovative game mechanics, look to board games. And in fact, it can't be a coincidence that these days we're seeing a resurgence of analog board games. People are sick of the "design-by-committee" philosophy that has completely eaten the videogame industry alive.
TL;DR: If you want to design games, design board games, because the modern video game industry has little to almost no need for game designers.
The Game Designer is dead. Long live the Game Designer.
EDIT: P.S, one last data point. Guess what the biggest growing segment in mobile gaming is? It's online gambling/casino games. Like I said, it is easier to lift game design from somewhere else now than to invent it wholesale.

⚙️Improving the Game We Already Have - Simple BitLife Fixes - More Achievements ✅

Here is a list of simple concepts that I believe would help to improve and expand on the game experience we already have without adding grand new gameplay mechanics. I play the iOS edition of the game in the U.S.
PUT SIGNIFICANT OTHERS FIRST ON THE RELATIONSHIPS LIST: This is mostly for the sake of players with big families, lots of siblings, etc. Since you can only have one romantic relationship at a time, there’s no reason why it shouldn’t be on top.Scrolling through a lot of family members to find your significant other can be frustrating.
ALLOW PLAYERS TO CUSTOMIZE WHAT ACTIVITIES SHOW IN THE ‘POPULAR’ TAB: Different players have different priorities, and it’s frustrating to have to scroll through the activities over and over because the ones you use most aren’t in the popular tab. How it is set up currently will remain for most players, but allowing those who want to reorganize it to do so, would be a simple and beneficial change. Rename this tab to “favorites” to fully implement this change.
A GAME RESET BUTTON: This would reset the game, erase all achievements, tombstones, etc. So players can have a fresh start without deleting the game from their device.
CHOOSE THE RACE/APPEARANCE OF CUSTOM PEOPLE: This is more for the player’s personal tastes than for ease of gameplay or replayability like my other proposals. For some players, it may be relevant for the custom characters they create or pull from their contacts to look a specific way when they make appearances in their game. It’s a simple addition that won’t get in the way of gameplay or in the way of players who don’t want to make use of the feature.
AN “ARE YOU SURE” WHEN ASKING FOR MONEY: I couldn’t tell you the number of times I accidentally asked my own, very broke, child or sibling for money, hurting our relationship for no reason. I’m sure I’m not alone. An “are you sure” here, much like the one for assault and insult, would fix the problem.

While I have no way of knowing if this will ever get to the developers, I hope you enjoyed reading in any case and that this inspires others to discuss more simple ways the developers can add replayability and ease of use to the game, without adding complicated new features.

Slit city, Slit, Slit, city y'all

In the comments of one of my other posts i brought up a situation where my Casino Pit Boss pulled a switchblade on someone, so here's that story.
This story begins where all good stories begin, with me flirting with the awesome and attractive cashier at the cage on the tale end of a busier night at the casino, where i'm the only security on this late (usually we tried to have at least 2 on, but sometimes things happen). I'm doing my thing, making myself look like an idiot with the cashier, when there's a commotion on the other side of the room behind me. I turn around and see my Pit Boss walking briskly along the inside curve of tables on the 'pit' side, while a notorious customer, who we will call 'J', is storming along the outside of the pit. My Pit Boss gets my attention and the following occurs:

"He needs to go. He needs to go right now!"
"FUCK THIS CASINO" -J
"Call Surveillance, get me a picture of this guy, i want him 86'ed"
I am approaching the guy and am already on the radio anyway. I get close enough to be in his field of view and get his attention.
"Hey, J! Come on...time to go!"
"Fuck this guy! He's racist and he's been on my nuts ever since i started coming here! He's always fucking with me!" -J
"Yeah? Well he's running the show right now, you can come back and talk to the GM about it later, but right now, i need you to leave."
"You know me, you remember when i first started coming here!" -J
"Yeah and we're cool, so i'm telling you, leaving now is the best thing you can do. You can call and talk to the GM about it later, but sticking around and making things worse doesn't play well for you."
This was enough sense to get J to comply and go to the cashier and cash out. While he's doing his thing at the cage (he tipped her, at least, which i appreciate) i'm standing about 10 feet (that's ≈ 3.05 metres 1 foot ≈ 0.30m for you @Bot_Metric) behind him near the edge of the pit listening to the run down from my Pit Boss about what happened.
Apparently J had tried to place an odd bet on a table game that can't evenly pay out that bet...not to mention it's below the table minimum which exists for various reasons, and exceptions can only be made with the Pit Boss's approval and rarely are. This is an issue my Pit Boss and J have gotten into it about before. This upset J, and when my Pit Boss told him he was going to exclude him from the property for 24-hours for his behavior and consistent disregard of gaming rules, he flipped his lid. Metaphorically and physically. He chucked coins around, knocked over some chairs, and went storming, which was where this story started.
Now i think is a good time to tell you a little bit more about J. J was...well...a low-life criminal. He ran a crew in the area, stealing things and selling things, selling drugs, and funding some bitcoin mining on the side. He used the casino to wash money. The problem was that he became a gambling addict, and washing money turned into chasing money. And let me tell you, druggie criminals with gambling addictions don't make for the best tempered customers. Especially ones that have a codeine drank hidden in your car that you don't think i know about. I've dealt with him and his guys regularly, and while i can't say i'm fond of many low-life's or criminals, the one thing about them i can say is that they understand my position. I'm doing my job. It's not personal. They're on one side of things, and i'm on another. I'm not out to get them. I treat them with respect, and they treat me with respect, and even though we butt heads, we usually shake things out pretty clean. It's more than i can say about a lot of the self-entitled customers i had to deal with. So when i told him the best thing he could do was leave, he knew i wasn't trying to give him the run-around.
J is done cashing out, and turns and starts again at my Pit Boss because he's close enough to start things again.
"I'm going to sue you! I have a good Lawyer! I'm going to sue you! You don't have the right to kick me out! That's discrimination!" -J
"Yeah, you do that" -PB
"I'll fuck you up!" -J
"You wanna go you son of a bitch?!" my Pit Boss has had enough. Not shy of conflict, he hops the barrier between the inside and outside of the pit.
I shove myself between them. It's at this point you start wondering why nobody has called the police yet. There's a pretty simple answer to that. It's a rough neighborhood, and we dealt with this sort of thing routinely. The police were also not likely to come anytime soon, and more importantly, my Pit Boss would have to authorize it, and with this guy, he doesn't want to authorize it. He's old school. He wants to deal with this one himself. Off the books.
"You're just a little bitch! I'll kick your ass." -J
"Well, what are you waiting for?" -PB
I'm a PB&J sandwich. I'm in the middle, physically pushing J back and doing my best to convince him he's right done fucked up now and should leave posthaste. When a Pit Boss is tired of your shit and squares up on you with Security ready to do his part, you're clearly over your head.
J starts walking towards the exit, me right behind him, and my Pit boss back a few steps supervising. J is still chirping, but me and the Pit Boss have always been on the same page in these situations. Someone can say whatever they want so long as they're leaving, it's when they stop walking that things become an issue, so he doesn't feel the need to respond to anything he's saying. I'm doing the active listening thing where i say things like "I completely understand." "Yes...yes, i know, i know."
We get to the door, and then outside. This is always another stop for people. Once they get outside they feel the need to start things again. No exception here. J is still chirping, but now he's not headed for his car, he's squared up on the sidewalk ready to pick a fight. Which takes my Pit Boss out of passive mode.
"What are you doing? Are you going to fight me or are you going to leave?" -PB
"I'll do it! I don't give a fuck! You know me, i've done time, i'll do it again!" -J
"It" in this situation probably refers to a gun that may or may not exist on his person.
"Well, come on then!" -PB, pulling a switchblade from his back pocket, clicking it open and keeping it pointed down by his left side.
There's a pause in the action. We've reached a moot point.
I'm still trying to do my best to get J to leave, but i barely exist at the moment.
"Yeah, i see it! I don't give a fuck!" -J
"Well, come on, let's see what you got" -PB
"J, if you try to fight him, all your going to end up doing is fighting me, and that is very bad for you." -My two cents
"Maaaan Fuck you guys" -J as he turns and walks to his SUV and peels out of the parking lot.

I coordinated with Surveillance to get what i needed and started the paperwork. I expected to see J in the area or try and come in again after that sometime, but he never came back.

My Experience with Stephen Paddock the Las Vegas Shooter and a very strong case of the motive being Revenge

The two people addressed briefly at the beginning of this Email are a Paralegal at the Connecticut law firm of Koskoff, Koskoff & Bieder https://www.koskoff.com/
who are suing gun manufacturers as part of their overall lawsuit strategy and doing the same in relation to Sandy Hook and independent journalist Mike Turber, one of the producers of the upcoming documentary Vegas Wrong, along with Ramsey Denison https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1774444/?ref_=nv_sr_1?ref_=nv_sr_1 , producer of the award winning documentary What Happened in Vegas https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6615426/?ref_=nm_knf_i2
Hi Lorena,
The following is a very good overview of what I know of what happened in Las Vegas on October 1, 2017 - and I venture to say I know way more valid information than 99% plus of the population about this subject.
It was originally sent to Mike Turber months ago. I have added comments where needed, but for the most part it was already very complete and well documented.
Please let me know you received this, there are many links and a few images so not all email systems will treat this as serious correspondence.
Thanks,
Rodney Peterson

Hi Mike,
A week before you posted the videos with Eric (Paddock, Stephen Paddock's brother), I posted roughly 120 to 130 posts on Twitter in succession with links to back up everything I say. These are the original writings I culled those posts from.
Eric Paddock interviews for Vegas Wrong:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPEmD5KKvb0
(Long)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=diofrf4nwaE&t=9s
(Short)
On his last day on Earth, just hours before committing the Las Vegas Mandalay Bay Route 91 Harvest Festival mass shootings in which he killed 59 people, including himself, Stephen Paddock won $860,000 playing video poker. Independent Journalist and Investigator Mike Turber has seen the official records. (while this is true, he LOST even more than that. This gives you an idea of just how fast paced and pressure filled becoming an addicted gambler playing video poker for up to 14 hours a day year-round can be).
There is more about that specifically and about Mike Turber later in this email.
Rodney Peterson

You can also find an extended interview with the shooters brother Eric Paddock, who is speaking through Mike Turber on this video, and myself on the You Tube page of Weg Oag, who has posted many videos about the Las Vegas shootings here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zR1rBjtwHI&t=5s
All of that is true. If you read my comments beneath, and there are many of them, you'll see that I've answered all the inconsistencies and reasonable objections anyone brought up.
All of the interview and all of my writing is first and foremost based on the following. Without this, it's very unlikely I would have remembered meeting Stephen Paddock, let alone what he said with regards to wishing to extract revenge on the casinos through extreme violence.
I did not remember it right away, it took several days after I read the comment below and it was not very clear at first. It took probably right around a week to actually remember everything accurately. Here it is copied and pasted from the Los Angeles Times website at which it was published on October 17, 2017 - two and a half weeks after the shootings where it was posted after an article about Jesus Campos appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres Show:

Quite a while back talked to that guy in an Edmonton casino about how the casinos cheat their patrons. Not a Muslim terrorist thing at all. Same guy Filipino girlfriend. Lived in a hotel in Vegas. Asked him why he came to an out of the way place like Edmonton. He said just to gamble. He mentioned he was a retired accountant. Talked about nothing you can do about the casinos cheating if you tried to sue they would bury you with their lawyers. He said he tried that once. He said he was going to do something about it. He mentioned something about a AR 15. I said I didn't know what that was (at the time) I'm retired military what would that be in military talk? He said M16. When I left I thought that guy is an American so he can't get guns in Canada. Can anyone figure out the dates he was up here. I recall he said he drove in from British Columbia and was on a 2 day stopover from a 19 day cruise when I met him. Maybe 30th September 2016???
Compare that with my conversation with him, which started as just being at the same Blackjack table where he and Marilou Danley were in the Excalibur, staring at me for half an hour or so while I played, Then complimenting me on winning money as he noticed the mathematical progressions of my betting patterns, then his bizarre rant about the casinos cheating, and finally this exchange when talk of cheating became talk of revenge:
"How? How are you going to get revenge on the casinos? They'll have you before you get ten feet on the floor!"
"LOOK ALL AROUND YOU! WHADDAYA SEE?! WINDOWS!"
Couple that with having nearly the same set of mental issues as Paddock. The major difference is I became obsessed with music and movies, not guns and not gambling 14 hours a day. I'm sure there are other differences as well, my contact with him was limited, but in retrospect, there was a ton of common ground. The types of personalities he and I have are not in the slightest bit desirable or advantageous. Especially when every effort is made to deny a problem even exists, as is the case with him. Anyone with these same issues and real introspection abilities would never have carried this out, they would look inside themselves first. He couldn't even blame himself for his own gambling issues, let alone anything else.
How he even thought for a minute he would survive such a heinous act uncaught, unpunished and with impunity is probably pretty good proof he couldn't ever accept the reality of his predicament and mental disabilities. The reality is from what I know of him he didn't attempt to deal with problems in any constructive way and just let the anger keep building, it's toxic. Lots of people with these same issues snap violently and always will. Largely because of the introspection he apparently lacked, I know I would never get away with such an act, even if I wanted to, even on a much smaller scale, no matter how much I tried or wanted to.
I knew immediately that comment was very important, it literally checked many of the boxes of what I instinctively believed, as well as had been originally reported, and urged the writer to contact the FBI. I had no idea when I read it I would have a similar story to tell, to say that was shocking when I began to remember my own encounter with Stephen Paddock is a huge understatement.
You can find it at the comments posted underneath the linked Los Angeles Times article here. To find it click where it says Be the first to comment (I don't know why it's set up like that, but it is) when you do comments will open. Keep clicking until the comment above appears.
Here is the link to the article:
http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-jesus-campos-20171017-story.html
It's extremely detailed as you can see, plus EVERYTHING FITS. A couple of important points - a retired military person would not have to know what an AR15 is, maybe they didn't have a huge interest in guns. And maybe they knew what it was but didn't know what it was called exactly. And the part about the two day stopover from Vancouver is irrelevant. ALL 19 day cruises to Alaska end with a two day stopover in Vancouver. That means Stephen Paddock had already disembarked, and did not have to go back to the ship at all.
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT AND SOMETHING THE FBI COULD EASILY DO IF THEY WANTED TO GET TO THE TRUTH OF THE MOTIVE
>>>>This would be easy to prove by checking passenger manifests for 19 day Alaska cruises that began in early to mid-September 2016 from the port of Vancouver.
My experience with Stephen Paddock was very similar and is written in detail, particularly at Instagram. Telephone, text or Twitter are the best ways to contact me directly.
I suspect he has aspergers as I do. That explains his obsession with numbers and math. That was why he wanted to talk to me - he saw I was using a mathematical system to win money. No one, before or since, has ever wanted to speak to me about using progressive math to win money, and that’s counting hundreds and hundreds of Casino Blackjack games. Very few people ever even notice it.
Being obsessed with activities and collecting stuff is part of the aspbergers, I believe, another part is the math. He collected guns and gambled 14 hours a day at times. My obsession is not about those things, it’s about collecting music, movies and television series, on every conceivable format at one time or another. But it’s part of the same pattern of aspbegers.
He’s unfriendly, he was annoyed I sat down at the same table he was playing at. He stared at me for a good half hour while we played, hardly saying a word. So he was both annoyed and studying the math I was using to place bets, which I didn’t know until after the game had ended for me, and he started talking about how I using math to win money. He thought that was smart.
He is incapable of blaming himself for his problems. He lacks introspection. Losing money at gambling is not his fault, the casinos are cheating him. That’s what he told me and I disagreed. The casinos don’t need to cheat.
He flies off the handle quickly. Disagreeing with him sent him into more of a rant about the casinos cheating, getting revenge, and finally when I asked how he was going to do that, yelling about shooting out of windows onto the Las Vegas Strip. It didn’t make a whole lot of sense, and even though he mentioned he lived at Mandalay Bay, which sounded like bullshit and I pretty much didn’t believe him, we were at The Excalibur which I’ve never thought of as a place with large windows, so it sounded even more ridiculous.
All in all, it sounded like a fantasy of revenge that would never happen. Yet, clearly, 15 months before he did it, he already had a clear plan of how to proceed. I believe that over the next 15 months it gelled from an insane idea to a workable plan.
But he still made a ton of mistakes. Otherwise, if he knew what he was doing when he shot at the jet fuel tanks, it could have been way, way worse. Just as an example of how inefficient the entire plan was.
It is extremely frustrating not to get real traction on this part of the story being reported, and it seems to be a deliberate decision possibly made by people in power at various institutions that have an interest in not divulging these details. These include MGM Resorts and other casinos, for certain, which in turn have a large degree of influence over the FBI and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, as well as media outlets, especially the Las Vegas Review Journal which is owned by casino magnate Sheldon Adelson.
There are new stories being investigated and confirmed that concern other angles of this story that are not being disclosed by MGM Resorts. This includes MGM gifting security guard Jesus Campos with Real Estate in the form of Las Vegas condos to sign an NDA and not talk about the events, including that management knew there was a huge quantity of guns in the room but chose to ignore them because of Stephen Paddock's High Roller Status.
See this article, one of many written by Doug Poppa. It’s important to note his background is in casino security, while my story revolves around my experience with Stephen Paddock, and examines both psychology and a very strong case of explaining the motive as revenge against the casinos, which is what he told me in person.
http://baltimorepostexaminer.com/exclusive-mgm-resorts-international-buys-mandalay-bay-security-officer-jesus-campos-silence-with-all-expenses-paid-trips-condos-in-exchange-for-nda/2018/12/09
Here are a couple of newer posts I’ve written at You Tube with relevant information about what Stephen Paddock told me:
Regarding what Paddock shouted “LOOK ALL AROUND YOU! WHADDAYA SEE?! WINDOWS!!” and Doug Poppa saying he’s never seen windows in the Excalibur, he wasn’t talking about that casino. He was talking about the entire strip. It was pretty obvious.
In fact, when he said it the image that came to mind was that he would shoot out of the windows of a central location, like Aria, not Mandalay Bay and certainly not Excalibur. Although he did tell me he lived at Mandalay Bay, which just added to how nuts I thought he was. People do not live at Mandalay Bay, and yet, he actually was very close to that, but I didn’t believe him.
Naturally, when I remembered all this I felt horribly guilty I never reported it. But now I know thanks to the efforts of Doug Poppa interviewing Luis Castro it wouldn’t have made any difference at all. Mandalay Bay knew about the guns in the room and ignored them. They weren’t about to take my word over his no matter what I told them on July 6, 2016. He was a high roller, I was not. I didn’t know he was a high roller, of course, I just thought he was a disheveled angry nut.
The interview also includes comments by Eric Paddock, who tries to negate my testimony in two ways. First, he claims Stephen Paddock didn’t play table games. Second, he tries to negate my memory of Stephen Paddock with a beard and mustache by saying he’s clean shaven. In both cases in the comments section I link to articles and photos that prove he did play Blackjack - for up to $2500 a hand. Photos of Stephen Paddock with a beard and mustache are easily found searching Google for images.
All reasonable objections and any time I misspoke during the interview are addressed in my comments - there are a lot of them. A lot of people asked questions, but some were redundant and others just will not accept that this tragedy was not a conspiracy, or that it didn’t happen. Of course, it happened. And it wasn’t a conspiracy.
Here is an early article from October 7, 2017 printed in the Las Vegas Sun confirming Stephen Paddock did indeed play Blackjack:
https://lasvegassun.com/news/2017/oct/07/dealers-lv-gunman-paddock-would-spend-long-hours-p/
Excerpts from that article specifically about Blackjack:
When one blackjack table dealer at the D Las Vegas first saw Stephen Paddock’s picture on television last week, she thought it was Paddock that had been shot — not the other way around.
Upon later finding out Paddock was responsible for the deaths of 58 attendees and the injuries of nearly 500 more at last Sunday’s Route 91 Harvest Festival on the Las Vegas Strip, the dealer said she was surprised that a man she knew to be calm yet reclusive was responsible for the largest mass shooting in modern United States history.
“He wasn’t the nicest guy, but he never came across as threatening,” said the dealer, who asked not to be identified. “Unpleasant in general, but he didn’t go out of his way to be rude or go after other people.” “I never would have thought he was capable of something like this, not him,” she added.
The dealer was one of several to speak with the Sun about Paddock, who owned homes in Mesquite and Reno but spent his retirement years and the final weeks of life frequenting the tables and machines of downtown and Strip casinos.
An avid blackjack player, Paddock also played video poker, interviewed dealers said. His girlfriend, Marilou Danley, enjoyed playing video slots when the two came to the casino together.
Another female dealer at the D Las Vegas, who requested anonymity, said Paddock had been a regular at the casino for “many years,” gambling as many as four days a week and sometimes spending an entire afternoon shift between gaming tables and the upstairs video poker room.
Despite betting up to $2,500 per hand on high-limit blackjack tables, Paddock was a poor tipper at first, she said. But he eventually came around when she gave him a hard time for “being cheap.” “I told him, ‘Steve, it would be nice if you started tipping me,’” she said. “From there on, he always left a fair tip.”
Three other dealers at the D Las Vegas said they last remembered Paddock at the casino on Sept. 26, just five days before he opened fire from his 32nd floor hotel room onto the 22,000 attendees of the country music festival.
SOME OF THE FOLLOWING IS REPEATED. THERE ARE OTHER AS YET NEW TO THIS EMAIL ANGLES OF THE STORY FOLLOWING THE REPEATED BACKGROUND INFORMATION.
Independent Investigator and Journalist Mike Turber has seen official records confirming Stephen Paddock won $860,000 on September 30, 2017, just hours before he committed the Las Vegas shootings. However, that figure doesn’t include losses for the day, which are right around $890,000.
Mike Turber, along with Ramsey Denison, who produced the documentary What Happened In Vegas, have interviewed me extensively on camera and in person. Mike Turber has stated that he observed my body language and other factors as a sort of lie detector test to determine if I was telling the truth without my knowledge which he states in that You Tube video. His conclusion is that either I am telling the truth or I believe I’m telling the truth.
Mike Turber can be contacted here:
[[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])
I believe, based on behavior, both Stephen Paddock and I have similar mental illnesses and Asperger’s syndrome. I believe that’s why he instinctively talked to me and noticed I was using the same type of mathematical formulas he did and was familiar with. (It works too 98% of the time the problem is it doesn’t work 100% of the time and that’s what you need). So was he crazy? Of course he was crazy! So am I. But instead of guns, my obsessions are artistic – movies, music, media production, and the like. There’s nothing I can do about the Asperger’s or High Functioning Autism that’s part of this. Like him I’ve had it all my life. You cannot fake this.
I would never have even remembered meeting Stephen Paddock, let alone what he said to me about wanting revenge against the casinos if I hadn’t come across this post written after an article about Mandalay Bay security guard Jesus Campos appearing on the Ellen show. Everything here fits:

It's extremely detailed as you can see, plus EVERYTHING FITS. A couple of important points - a retired military person would not have to know what an AR15 is, maybe they didn't have a huge interest in guns. Or maybe he knew what it was but didn't know what it was called exactly. And the part about the two day stopover from Vancouver is irrelevant. ALL 19 day cruises to Alaska end with a two day stopover in Vancouver. That means Stephen Paddock and Marilou Danley had already disembarked, and did not have to go back to the cruise ship at all.
AND HOW TO PROVE THE EDMONTON STORY IS TRUE:
Any FBI investigator or private investigator could prove if what Stephen Paddock told that commenter is true by checking passenger manifests for 19 day Alaska cruises that began in early to mid-September 2016. Unless Stephen Paddock and Marilou Danley were on that cruise, this person couldn’t have possibly known about it unless he was directly told by Stephen Paddock, as he says.
THE FOLLOWING IS ALSO VERY IMPORTANT TO MOTIVE. THIS IS WHAT STEPHEN PADDOCK MEANT WITH REGARDS TO THE CASINOS CHEATING, NOT TRADITIONAL CHEATING. I don’t play Video Poker, so I had no idea what he meant by his talking about the casinos cheating that morning unless he had explained it to me, which he didn’t do.
Here is another recent You Tube post I’ve written which details more about Stephen Paddock and Video Poker with links to yet more relevant information. There are several posts by myself near the bottom of the thread. Just like on my Instagram page, Rodney4K, you can see how the details of the memory of meeting Stephen Paddock was not at that time completely clear and changed as I remembered more and more of what happened.
There are very rare video poker machines known as 9 over 6 Jacks or Better. If played perfectly they give the player 100.8% payout. But that's no guarantee. Someone figured out that in order to have a 90% chance of winning $140,000 you need at least a six million dollar bankroll.
There is a whole thread about this and Paddock in one of Anthony Curtis columns on the Las Vegas Advisor website. Of course, beating the house long term is close to impossible. Even the Sheriffs department admits Paddock had lost a considerable amount of wealth prior to the shootings.
There's also a report that he won $860,000 on the day of the shootings. But that figure doesn't include losses, which are reported to be some $890,000. Mike Turber knows the details of this.
I have several comments in that article. Just like on my Instagram page, if you read them, you'll see how they change more and more as I start to remember meeting Stephen Paddock and what he said about getting revenge on the casinos. It was a very bizarre few days as that memory returned:
https://www.lasvegasadvisor.com/gambling-with-an-edge/the-shooter-gambler-steven-paddock/
Because that blog is about gambling, many of the posts are about how much Stephen Paddock did gamble, his odds of winning and related subjects. It is this post from the above thread that appears to be the most accurate about the level of Video Poker Stephen Paddock played nearly every day:
What everyone is forgetting is what kind of bankroll is required when playing 9/6 Jacks or Better at $125 a hand. According to Video Poker for Winners if you bet $125 a hand and you get 0.5% slot club return, which I think is generous for a strip club casino in 2015, you need over $6 million bankroll. And that is for a chance of going broke 10% of the time! If the average gambler can make this calculation so can a casino. There’s no way a casino is going to give you free rooms, food, shows, etc and at the same time let you win $5 million over the year!
You can see how complicated it gets. Did he win the $5 million? Sure, probably several times. But at a cost that probably was more in the neighborhood of after 6 million dollars of losses.
Another insightful commenter provided this information about changes in tax law under Donald Trump which would be something that could very much upset Stephen Paddock to the point of taking these drastic actions:
I am surprised nobody has commented on an obvious angle to the Shooter’s profile. He had millions in Royal Fushes each year. At Tax Time those wins were undoubtedly counter balanced by his losses. Anthony Curtis related in the latest issue of LVA that the last 2 books purchased were about Taxes and Gambling Law.
Under the Trump tax plan guess how much will be allowed to be written off as losses?? ZERO!!!!! That deduction dies and so with it will any AP (Advantage Play) play on VP. The Shooter was an accountant, he had to have knowledge of that reality. Anyone who plays VP, at any level above a $1200 Royal, would have to be an idiot to be in action under those conditions.
The winning sum of $5.000,000 has been used in previous posts, Can you imagine having won $5.000.000 and subsequently losing that back plus an additional $500,000? You would not only be stuck the $500,000 but also owe the IRS another $1,000,000 to $2,000,000 in taxes on your non deductible winnings.
How come nobody in the casinos is screaming about this? It will kill destroy $1 and up Slot and VP play.
According to Mike Turber, who says he has seen the records, Stephen Paddock won $860,000 on September 30, 2017, just before the shootings. But, he also very likely lost $890,000 that very same day, according to the full accounting.
This is also very important, in that besides my testimony of what happened when I met Stephen Paddock and when Robert Roberts met Stephen Paddock, here is a CNN article quoting his Caesars Palace host that says that when they switched out the high payoff machines, he stopped coming altogether.
This helps give credence to the motive of being angry at the casinos, wanting revenge, and his belief the casinos were cheating. They don't cheat in the traditional sense - they don't have to, and that's why I disagreed with him and why he became angry. But, in his mind, switching out the higher payoff Video Poker machines for the ones that gave the house a better edge after years and years of playing them-I can see how he would equate that with cheating:
https://www.cnn.com/2018/05/16/us/las-vegas-shooting-documents/index.html
This is an excerpt from that CNN article:
A man who worked for Caesars Entertainment who had known Paddock for years said Paddock was a regular guest for several years but Caesars took out his favorite video poker machines.
Paddock was a skilled gambler, the casino host said, and he stopped coming once those games were taken out.
The host said Paddock was an odd guy who either came to one of the Caesars properties alone or with his girlfriend, Marilou Danley. Danley was in the Philippines at the time of the shooting, and police said they don't think she was involved. Paddock, who killed himself, acted alone, police have said.
The host said there was one incident years ago in which Paddock yelled at him over late luggage, something the host thought peculiar. When asked to specify why he thought Paddock was odd, the host said: "He was just weird."

[LONG] My Experience with Las Vegas Shooter Stephen Paddock - His Brother Says Revenge was the Motive and So Do I (includes links to news articles, credible web sites and blogs, and video interviews that back up every element of the story]

This is an email recently sent to journalists, attorneys and others.
The two people addressed briefly at the beginning of this Email are a Paralegal at the Connecticut law firm of Koskoff, Koskoff & Bieder https://www.koskoff.com who are suing gun manufacturers as part of their overall lawsuit strategy and doing the same in relation to Sandy Hook and independent journalist Mike Turber, one of the producers of the upcoming documentary Vegas Wrong, along with Ramsey Denison https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1774444/?ref_=nv_sr_1?ref_=nv_sr_1 , producer of the award winning documentary What Happened in Vegas https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6615426/?ref_=nm_knf_i2
Hi Lorena,
The following is a very good overview of what I know of what happened in Las Vegas on October 1, 2017 - and I venture to say I know way more valid information than 99% plus of the population about this subject.

This is according to his former brother-in-law, Luis Castro, and is partially documented in the article mentioned below.

A couple of important points - a retired military person would not have to know what an AR15 is, maybe they didn't have a huge interest in guns.

The winning sum of $5,000,000 has been used in previous posts, Can you imagine having won $5,000,000 and subsequently losing that back plus an additional $500,000?

My Lady Azura, nearly complete! (alternate title: RNG is really weird!)

http://i.imgur.com/LWLU08A.png
Edit: Carrot Lance Chibi action shots https://imgur.com/gallery/3FO6B
Best character in game.
Started with her on re-roll (1). Pulled (3) searching for Ninian IVs and SI fodder (dragon emblem is fun). Pulled (3) hunting for Effie merges/IVs. Pulled last (2) searching for Nowi and Reinhardt IVs. (=Azura +8)
Unit Merges of note along my side quest for max Azura:
Effie +8 Ninian +4 (and rip 2 for Fortify Dragons Fodder) Abel +8 Cordelia +4 Nowi +7 Reinhardt +7
(But eventually enough feathers and certainly enough fodder to +10 each of these)
Zero (0) Linde. Told you RNG was weird.
*If IV re-roll is ever a thing, I might sue... or probably just cry in a corner for lack of foundation on my lawsuit. (whale's perspective)
Build: (+SPD/-RES) Carrot Lance for the memes and Fury offset (Sapphire when doing serious Arena). Hone Speed or Spur Attack typically depending on Blade Tomes or ArmoInfantry Emblem. Rotate between Lance Breaker (with Carrot Lance) and WOM depending on team comps and the carried arena bonus character. Escutcheon with WOM for defense, Moonbow with lancebreaker for offense.
Boilerplate Disclaimers:
~4k spent on Costco iTunes Cards (~4.7k value) I don't know how to "hack" or emulate, I play on my phone. Dual Income-No Kids, stable job, spouse supportive of hobbies, and a slight gambling addiction... but never stepped foot in a casino.
Done spending money unless Azura gets a banner (rip F2P unless you've got inhuman resolve) so I can make her number green and my gamer life complete.

How to be a good friend, when your best buddy get screwed by his wife in divorce.

I had a friend for some years, which my wife(now ex-wife) never approved, because he was not the brightest candle on the cake and thought he would be "below our social stand". But I liked him, he was funny, but most of all, he was always right there when I need a helping hand, while my other so called "friends" always had other "important things" to do.
The he met a girl which instantly became pregnant. I never really trusted her and I think I can read people. He was working in shifts in a cold storage to pick and pack things for orders. The job was hard and not paid well. He could have lived from welfare and would not have muss less. But he stayed at the job while she was sitting at home, supposedly looking after the child and do the housework. But in reality she dropped off the kid as his parents and went shopping and hang around with "friends". I have to mention that his parents had some money, not really right people, but they supported him a lot, like paying for a new car he could never afforded with his income.
I told him one day that I have seen her in the co-driver's seat of another guy. He denied that this would be possible, but I guess he was just to embarrassed. Their flat was always a mess and when I was there for a visit he began to tidy up a bit.
So when he came back from work, he cleaned the house, cooked or looked after the child. She did only sit in the kitchen, smoking and making phone calls or WhatsApp. When I pointed out that she is doing nothing, he lied that she already spent the day with other tasks in the house and is just taking a break. Of course she did not like me and began to influence him to dismiss me and other friends. So as time went by, we me only occasionally, but he did not go out any more or did meet with other friends. When someone asked him to join, he was always busy with family or tiered.
Then someone told me that she is pregnant again. I went by to compliment him on the happy event. We talked a bit about old time and the fun we had. But after that we did not really see each others a lt again.
Half a year later his parent died in a tragic car accident. His father was stingily old grumbler, but his mother was a nice lady. When I heard about I imediatly went by and offered my help if needed. When we meet again at the burial he told me that he inherited their house and that there was a nice life insurance policy, which was meant for the case that his father died before his mom. But now he would get the money instead. I told him to be careful and not spent everything.
I even helped him to redo his parents house and to move in. But then I did not hear from him again for a while.
3 months later he showed up al the sudden at my doorstep. He asked if I had some time to talk and I could see how he was holding back the tears. I had other guests, but took him to the garage and grabbed some beer from the fridge.
He told me that she left him and he is alone with the kids now. He had to ask his aunt to look after them, so he could come over. He went on that they where fighting a lot since the got the money from the insurance and how to spend it. She was ordering a lot online and then giving it away to "friends". I told him from my experience with my divorce and that I would not trust her. HE thanked me that he could unburden himself and left home.
The next day I went by after work to look after him. He told me that she went by this morning they agreed to divorce. To save costs they would share one layer to save costs. As they did not have a marriage contract, everything would be split in half. Again I warned him not to trust her.
End of the week I wanted to check on him again. He was alone home with the kids and devastated. He got a letter from a layer, her layer, earlier this day. Asking him to pay alimony and child support, for the 2 kids living with him. I insisted that he got his own layer now.
At this he was still working and had to ask his aunt to look after the kids while he is at work. One day she showed up at the aunt to pickup the kids. She imediatly called him at work, but there was no legal way she could have kept the childs for the her mom. When my friend arrived the aunt could only tell him that she took off with another guy in a car.
She did not answer any calls of text messages for the next days. He went mad. I turned out that her layer told her that she had better chances if the kids stayed with her. From here it went downhill fast.
They started a fight over the kids and the child welfare service got involved as she alleged that he would get drunk every day, talke drugs and watch porn all day. Trutz is this guy came home from work, spent time with he kids and did the house work until she left him. And even then, alone with the 2 kids he cared about everything. But with all the lies she managed to get full custody of the kids at court.
One day she took the car from the paring lot at his work. And when he came back from work, he fond that all the valuable stuff in the house was gone. The new motorbike was gone as well. Neighbors told him that she showed up with a guy that then drove away with the bike. Later it turned out that she was cheating on my friend with this guy for months and had other guys before.
When he told me I could not believe that he did not change the locks, but l knew from my divorce that there is no theft as long as you are married. So we went to his home, picked up all the valuable stuff that was left and more important all the paperwork to store it at my home. Then we came up with a plan.
We filled out some sale contracts, for the motorbike, the old and new car. And for everything else that was valuable. then we went to the bank and drained all accounts. He also put a mortgage on his house and got a loan from the bank. Important to mention is that she had the keys to the vehicles, but not the papers. So we figured out where this new guy lives and we took my car to drive by in the night to collect the car and the motorbike, which we parked in my garage. I went to the admission office the next day to register them on my name. Then I showed up at the guys doorstep. To my surprise the police was there as well. She had reported both vehicles as stolen. When she saw me she started yelling that I would be involved in the theft. I kept calm, and explained to the officers that I had bought some stuff from my friend, including the cars and the motorbike, as he could not pay anymore for the alimony she was asking. I had all the paperwork with me. Her jaw dropped. I then continued that I am here to pick up the other items I bought and if they where so kindly to hand them over. She lost it and started yelling again. One of the officers had to tell her to calm down. I asked if I can take the stuff with me now, or if I should ask the police to assist. Well, without court order they would have done nothing, but the luckily officers played along by saying nothing. She then yelled she rather demolished everything before I would get it. I said calm that she can, but I would sue her for the value of "my property" and now that I have two police officers to testify. Her new boyfriend jumped in as he clearly was very uncomfortable with the situation and having the police at his doorstep. He even helped me to get the large tv in my car.
Then she sued him out of his home. Yes, he had to move out of the house of his parents and move into an apartment. While she moved in with her new boyfriend. But we had a nice surprise. The day before he had to move out, we bought some fresh fisch at the supermarket. We sliced it into small pieces and stuck it in hidden places. Inside the wall socket, inside the curtain rails, behind the skirting boards, the traps in the drainpipes and other places you would not look into. I guess after some weeks the smell must be horrible, but hey her problem now.
Then we went to the casino a couple of times every week. He changed money to chips and kept the return, while I cashed them in and gave him the money back. After 6 months he stopped working, did not pay the mortgage back to the bank and also stopped paying alimony and child support. Her layer sued him and at court he said that he was devastated as he had not seen his kids for months a got addicted to gambling. That he has lost all his money and even more. He could prove his story with the receipt he kept. The judge order him to get a new job and to provide for "his family".
Even he this was win for him that she did not get anything from him anymore, he was still suffering that he did not ever see his kids again. I told him that I am about to visit an old friend that has moved to Thailand some while ago, and if he does not want to join. We had a lot of fun and I was able to cheer him up and let him forget all the crap he was going thru the last 2 years. On our flight back home he told me that he plans to move to Thailand. I asked him if he really thinks that this is the best for him. He explained then to me that his life at home is ruined anyway. He has big outstanding debts, not only his loan from the bank, also his wife had sued him for the alimony and child support, and the costs for the layers(his and his wife) and the cost are piling up. He went on that when everything is over, if he would use the cash to pay everything, there would be not much left or even would have still debts to pay. It would also just a matter of time until the bank would auction the house from his parents to cover for the loan. With his small wage job he did not have to expect any sustainable pension payments, when he is old. So there was nothing to hold him back.
Over the next weeks he figured out with my friend in Thailand how to transfer the money he had in cash and get a bank account that is hidden from the access from his wife or officials at home. There is a 2 year waiting term before you can get divorced in our country. When the divorce was processed at court, he was already living in Thailand. He had opened a small shop to rent motorbikes to tourists. My friend helped him getting everything arranged as usually as foreigner you cannot open a business in Thailand. So officially the shop is owned by some Thais, my friend made sure everything is setup that no one can screw him over again. He started with 5 motorbikes and did all the repairs and maintenance by himself.
All this is nearly 10 years ago. Today he still lives in Thailand, he is married to a Thai wife, they have 3 children. His shop has now over 30 motorbikes to rent and he has 3 employee that do the work. I visit him regularly now. He has never seen his kids from his first marriage again, and still is close to tears if he's is reminded. But from what I can tell he is happy now. He filed for personal bankruptcy at home, so after 5 years he had a clean record again. His business is doing well, but compared to our standards he is living a moderate lifestyle.
You may think his action where not legal or morally wrong, especially to his first 2 kids. But I have seen a man who never did something wrong, who could have lived from welfare with his two kids, but chased to get to a lousy paid hard work every day. But his ex-wife wanted to take everything from him, including the kids, and the system helped with it.
If you had to eat that much shit, but never did something wrong before, then I think you deserve a new start and a happy life.

Tolkien says no to loot boxes in mordor!

https://my.mixtape.moe/vrcnid.jpg
Pspro shadow of mordor owner, fan of the original and lover of all things Tolkien...Hello :)
Please excuse the tabloidy title but before lighting the war torches please read on to see my justification....
MANY of the current critic reviews for Shadow of War are in stark contrast to the user reviews seemingly due to the controversy over microtransactions in Mordor.
I own Shadow of Mordor & War on pspro and as a fan I'm deeply dissapointed and troubled by elements of the latest game. Yes I am enjoying the game as it's good...but that doesn't mean I'm on board with all of the new 'additions'.
Here is my post from another site which addresses 3 issues surrounding the above controversy which I feel are important enough to pass on to fellow Middle earth fans.
If it reads as passionate and ranty lol that's because I'm sick of such issues plauging my favorite games. Ofcourse I'm referring to microtransactions in the form of gambling and not story dlc (which can be awesome and a valid way to pay for game support).
The intention of this article is to simply refuse to accept the inevitable regardless of the futility of such a quest...but then they said that about Frodo and he still went to Mordor which read , 'I went to Mount Doom and all I got was this lousy t-shirt!', so I guess I'll be taking my own doomed quest.
1). Did you know...that Activision Blizzard (COD /Overwatch / Warcraft) reportedly made over 3.6 billion dollars last year (2016) on microtransactions alone.
IMO this absurd sum for digital accessories & advantages is the primary reason why we have forms of microtransactions in nearly every so called AAA game in 2017. Ignore the countless justifications publishers & their vast PR departments spout and feed to their army of rabbid fans and paid shills to confuse the conversation. It’s simply all about $£€...greed and avarice on a scale never seen before in the gaming industry.
The business model employed by developers but instigated by publishers targets the most venerable people in society with legitimate life ruining addictions i.e...the so called 'whales and dolphins' of gambling. People (including kids) with addictive personalities who can't say no to the carrot on the stick. I've supported such people profesionally and it's scary sh!t that something you and I might ignore, is like cat nip (or crack cocaine) to a percentage of the population.
This gambling currently is in the form of mini 'games of chance' (random loot boxes / crates / chests...orcs etc) is almost unregulated in video games and as a result circumvents all the major gambling laws in my country. Laws established over time from experiencento prevent the abuses we are gradually starting to see in full priced games. Abuses which in the least are an annoyance and at worse can ruin lives.
Unsurprisingly companies like Time Warner , who own Shadow of War , have known ties to casino and online gambling...they have vested interests outside of videogames which they wish to exploit and merge.
Which is also likely why rival companies which use similar business models (EA, Activision etc.) ensure that their flagship titles have been 'polluted' with lucrative gambling models which connect directly to the aforementioned 'interests'. Ofcourse companies wish to make more money but it's a increasingly a question of balance , as much as ethics.
Consider that gambling potentially grooms children and venerable adults to move seamlessly from one industry to the another using the same 'candy franchises' such as Lord of the Rings or Star Wars etc. (So sweet you can't resist..but they're not good for you). Ask yourself how you feel about this.
In 2017 there are loot boxes, shops and excess grind in Shadow of War but previously Shadow of Mordor only featured dlc. This is due to the meteoric rise of loot boxes via the sucess of Overwatch etc. and that irresistible potential 3.5 billion net profit (as production costs for a new 'hat' are incomparable to story dlc).
As we have now moved into pay to win territory in competitive multiplayer I am deeply disgusted with Warner Bros as I am with Activision and EA. I am shocked and saddened that gambling is another thing to contend with in modern games but find it ironic that the primary connection from AAA full priced games to the mobile market fee2play titles isn't the franchises but the business model behind them.
2). Directly connected to the above shady practices are JRR Tolkiens views on gambling.
He was known to be a decent man with strong ethical, moral, social and religious convictions. As a result if his opinions he was able to fashion an entire universe which would outlive him and connect fans across the world over half a century later. A sensitive man aware of the darkness in humanities heart and the evils and atrocities it is willing to commit upon itself (he served in the trenches of ww2).
Apparently he was worried that his life’s work might be abused after his death (1973) so in the late 60s he ensured that his art should never be used to cause harm to others and listed gambling as one such evil. Tolkien was particularly worried about children being exposed to 'immoral practices and vice' such as gambling, as he was a devout Roman Catholic.
For decades this request from a dying man was upheld by his estate until they licenced the rights to Time Warner / Warner Bros , the company behind the Monolith aka Shadow series (see where this rabbit hole leads...).
About 4 years ago the Tolkien estate sued Time Warner for breach of contract and quoted the final wishes of Tolkien in the suit. Time Warner were making online and casino slot machines (games of chance) which used middle earth and hobbit as a 'candy' to hook users on gambling. The estate described the misuse of Tolkiens work as ‘sickening’ and in 'direct opposition to the values the late Tolkien expressly put forth in his will'.
The estate settled out of court (won $€£) for an undisclosed sum and that should have been an end to it. Fast forward a few years and we have random loot boxes aka gambling in Shadow of Mordor. Directly tied to gameplay is a strong pay to win business model based on the psychology of gambling (derived from casinos), forced into Tolkien's middle earth by Time Warner via developer Monolith (think Deus Ex microtransacrions debacle & why that franchise is dead).
At this time the Tolkien estate haven’t sued, as they’re either unaware or possibly the terms of the renegotiated license allows for the use of Tolkiens work for gambling. Possibly they have tapped into that lucrative $3.6 billion + which Activision Blizzard reaped..3.6..billion..billion :-O
J R R Tolkien expressly stated, when he had all his faculties, that he didn’t want his work to have any connection to gambling which random loot boxes are by definition...but in 2017 they've made their way to middle earth. As a fan...I'm not happy about that.
3). If we accept that microtransactions via gambling are so lucrative that leading publishers now priotise them over all other interests and that gambling can be extraordinarily dangerous to some. If we accept that even deceased visionary creators like Tolkien were opposed to them and that gamers aren't actively requesting them..then what can be done about them?
One possible path is to remove publishers altogether , as they are often the money men who interfere with the creative process of the developer and no longer necessary. Direct correlations can be drawn between publishers becoming intrusively greedy (seen through their adoption of gambling in full priced games) and the rise of self publishing and self promotion by video game developers.
Due to digital distribution (psn, xboxlive, steam etc.), some devs can by pass unnecessary antiquated behemoths corporate publishers like Warners.
Small developers can use social media and live events for marketing to keep their budget small and as result charge up to half of a traditional 2017 aaa title. A good example of this is Ninja Theories recent hit game ‘Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice'.
Another upside to side stepping the EA's and Activision Blizzards of this world is that the games aren’t made by committee via some focus group. As a result independent self published games can be much more interesting , hand crafted, even more controversial titles with clearer direction and 100% microtransaction free (though story DLC is always welcome imo).
Surely the latter is healthier for a stale, ailing industry devoted to mindless stereotypes and an endless wave of lumbering sequels (I'm still talking about videogames and not film ;).
In summary, there is more money to be made from microtransactions in aaa games than from the game sales themselves and as a result the average gamer who isn't a whale is less important as are their needs. That's just good business sense short term as these scenarios are only focussed on short term gain and goals as they are imo unsustainable and may lead to an industry shakeup via serious legislation or a loss of consumer confidence.
Only time will tell but the writing is on the wall and even Tolkien himself knew before it even existed ...that gambling in games wasn't in the best interests if users.
That's it. I hope my thoughts have been of interest to you and I advise you look further and research the ideas I have put forth so you can form your own ideas.
If asked what you can do to stop our favourite games from being consumed by the evil grip of Sauron and his microtransaction ring of power, I'd advise people to stop buying full priced games with 'pay to win business models', as seen in Shadow of Mordor and upcoming SW Battlefront 2 (or almost any recent AAA title). Also support self published games like Hellblade.
If you really care, maybe also email publishers / developers or politician and express your thoughts about gambling in games ($3.6 billion...). I repeat we’re not talking story DLC but random loot box gambling which can lead to gameplay inbalance and worse.
To the apologists, justifiers and real trolls (orcs?), microtransactions are not 'creative liberties' but it's unsurprising that if we are to find poisonous filth in middle earth, then it would dwell in $auron’$ Mordor...
Feel free to support this post or disagree vehemently with extra troll abuse or amaze me and internalize your thoughts... thank you for reading either way :)

View Of The Future

  1. I want the democrats and the independents to win all of the elections.
  2. I want human treatment given to all animals; insects and sea creatures, and plants.
  3. Labor produces value. I want all who labored to produce physical objects which have improved our lives, to be paid back pay extracted from the coffers of those who have produced nothing, and have been hoarding everything.
  4. Those who haven’t the ability to produce anything due to organic disabilities are to be lovingly cared for, and helped in every way to have fun.
  5. Everyone gets to retire at age fifty and live fearlessly, with free transport to visit other cultures around the globe.
  6. All genetically altered food is banned from this planet.
  7. All debts of every kind are forgiven.
  8. Solar power takes an enormous jump to empower every household everywhere to be completely self-sufficient.
  9. Water reclamation and purification systems take an enormous jump into being availed to every household. The people have complete control of their own water supply, paying nothing to anyone ever. The system is indestructible and ever-lasting.
  10. The necessity for less than zero population growth becomes a popular theme, expressed in many songs. People accept that it’s necessary to not over populate. The Pope makes this clear in one of his speeches.
  11. Organic gardens pop up everywhere around the globe. The price of organic food drops to less than processed foods. Process foods become as unpopular as smoking is now. Processed foods become heavily taxed in restaurants, and chain grocery stores; within two years they’re not used at all.
  12. Campaign contributions in all elections are abolished. Exact nominal amounts are given to the candidates to pay for ads for their campaigns. Cheating is punished with prison terns of not less than three years in a standard federal prison. For those that try to buy the candidate the prison term is not less than twelve years. No probation of any kind, for the full term of either offense.
  13. The prison system is taken out of the hands of private industry and put back in the hands of the people’s government.
  14. All of the non-violent (identity theft not included, they do hard labor) offences are given a chance to join a land-reclamation program such as Roosevelt started in the 1930ies. Half of the trees planted would be wild fruit trees, and of course everyone would receive minimum wage $15.5 or more per hour.
  15. In less than one year the minimum wage rises to $ 15.5 an hour, and continues to rise a dollar a year for the following six years.
  16. Monopolies will be eliminated at fifteen percent a year till there is none worldwide.
  17. Charging more than ten percent interest in any way shape or form will be declared slavery, and any CEO and or underlings who instigate doing so will be sentenced to 18 months hard labor, and be paid the minimum wage for each hour of hard labor they perform within the confines of a state or federal prison.
  18. For each live organic fruit tree on individually owned property of less than an acre there will be a five-dollar tax deduction per tree.
  19. All bicycles must have suspension systems to absorb shock, and prevent damage to joints.
  20. All toothbrushes must have no less than 120 bristles, and distributed free to people who have government vouchers for them. Vouchers can be acquired at any post office at the voucher window.
  21. All people who were effectively put in debtors prison, have to be paid double the minimum wage back for every hour they spent incarcerated by the prison for profit companies that exploited them. And said companies are banned from ever existing again. Their mother companies will be billed to pay for all the hours, and all of the hardships encountered while these folks were sequestered.
  22. Republicans retire from the Supreme Court.
  23. The balance in the Supreme Court is to be extremely left.
  24. No one under any circumstances is permitted to sign away his or her right to sue for damages. To coerce anyone in any way to do so is a felony punishable for not less than three years in a federal penitentiary. Anyone who sets policy of doing so for a major company is to be sentenced to not less than ten years in a federal penitentiary.
  25. Every citizen in this country and all other countries demand and receive mutual ownership of all robots, which do any work of any kind. This law is not to be altered in any way shape or form. The benefits for said work are to be distributed among the general public. Anyone who attempts to subvert or steal from this system is sentenced to ten years in a federal penitentiary at hard labor, and a paid minim wage $15.5 an hour to start. (Much of the hard labor will be making parts for bridges for rebuilding the infrastructure of this nation)
  26. The term: “to promote the general welfare” in the Constitution of the United States of America is no longer demonized. It is reinstated to mean to promote the general welfare of the 98 % of the American People; and is done so rigorously.
  27. All water in the United States is the property of the citizens of the United States, and this ownership is not assignable in any way. The pollution of water in the United States of America is an affront to all the citizens of the United States. All CEO’s that intentionally pollute our water are sentenced to three years of hard labor and paid $15.5 per hour for the work they will be doing on the our country’s infrastructure and the cleaning up of streams; lakes; ground water tables etc etc.
  28. All vegetables and fruits that originally had seeds are to be reintroduced into general circulation. And all genetically altered fruits and vegetable seeds are to be destroyed.
  29. All credit charges that are in excess of 10% are declared a form of taxation. Taxation without representation is in violation of the Constitution of the United States of America; and therefore declared to be a felony.
  30. When banks are caught cheating their clients out of portions of their monies. The bank has to pay the federal fines; restore the monies, and the executives who set the policy of bilking their clients have to spend the same amount of time in a federal prison at hard labor as the length of the bilking period.
  31. When you enter a doctor’s office you punch in your time card. The reason you’re there has already been entered into the computer when you made the appointment. After twenty-five minutes have passed; for each moment there after the patient is waiting, the doctor’s insurance company has to pay the patient twenty-five cents. If the patient waits a full hour; that adds up to $15 an hour; the approximate amount of minimum wage. If the waiting period exceeds one and a half hours, the doctors insurance company is charged time and a half.
  32. The three-mile limit of coastal waters of the United States of America is hereby changed to sixty miles. There shall not be any commercial fishing; No excavating for minerals of any kind; No drilling of any kind.
  33.
